A New Candidate Emerges....

For those of you who don't read the political section of the Daily Prophet, there is new development in the 2012 presidential race. As seen in this picture, a new candidate will challenge Democrats and Republicans alike. I'm not sure what he has planned to fix the economy, solve problems in the Middle East, and help the world with its money problems. I'm also not sure why one of his supporters would drive a hybrid, but perhaps he has done his homework in reeling in some key demographics.

There's nothing like a half-blood dark lord to spark up a race to the white house, eh?

Ultra Necessary Missing Dog Descriptions

This post has caused me to automatically look at every dog's testicles, just in case I find this exact dog with very dark colored testicles.

Everyday Irony

There's no place like the South. And there's no place like Brevard, North Carolina. What I have not yet seen in my lifetime (nor do I expect to see) is someone that loves their cat and/or dog SO much, that they are going to pierce holes in their little delicate ears so that everyone can see how "cute" they look. It's bad enough that the owners would think about piercing their ears, but even worse that they would make their dog or cat wear these stupid ass earings. Why not get them some good handmade silver earrings? or maybe some giant gypsy loops?

I know most of you by now might be thinking these aren't for dogs or cats at all. Well I say that the owner of this store has a huge issue with animals (or a phobia of clearly labeled merchandise). You may assume anything out of the ordinary...it's the South.

Please continue to prey on gullible people

I would like to thank the amazingly creative person who posted this "candy machine." I hope all of you reading this will be further inspired to create more satisfying "everyday" moments based on your abuse of gullible people. Here ends this post.

Geriatric Dairy Consumption

My first entry should come as no surprise. My friend and I wanted ice cream. Logically, we go to an amazing ice cream store called Dolly's in Brevard, NC. This is the location OPEIC was born. Please enjoy our inaugural photo.

The Everyday

Everyone has daily moments that include simple pleasures and simple truths. Old People Eating Ice Cream (hereby known as OPEIC) is a blog meant to highlight everyday items that hopefully remain simple, especially those that make us laugh.

I probably should disclaim that all of the entries are never meant to offend, but always have the potential. With that in mind, I hope everyone enjoys the ridiculous, possibly offensive, insensitive, and sometimes mindless humor of the Everyday.
